"And New York is the most beautiful city in the world? It is not far from it. No urban night is like the night there... Squares after squares of flame, set up and cut into the aether. Here is our poetry, for we have pulled down the stars to our will."

Ezra Pound

They don't seem to be beautiful at all. Rather... practical. It's obvious that where people don't have enough place to live besides each other, must live above one another.
When you're standing below them, they can amaze you or even make a little anxious. But if you look at scyscrapers from the distance, you can spot that dynamic stars, representing human beings and their existence. And that is a moment of falling in love.

Don't want to boast, but to have a hotel room with such a view in New York, was definitelly a win.

Moreover, to watch sunrise above Manhattan straight from bed, I mean, what else do I need to say...

But don't worrywe did not come to New York to observe it from  the hotelroom window. Especially when other views are pretty spectacular too.

Working as a window cleaner must be no joke here.

While walking down the streets of New York, you will always find some surprises.

And the view from Top of the Rock (Rockefeller center) will stay on you mind for long. Do you remember what I've written about that view from the distance?
